About the tour
Step into the story of Hollywood and discover how a quiet California community became the world capital of cinema. Beginning long before the arrival of the film industry, we'll explore the history of the land and the communities that called it home before following Hollywood's transformation into the center of the global entertainment industry.
Through the lives of a handful of influential figures, we'll trace the major transformations that shaped Hollywood over the past century. We'll look beyond the facades of famous landmarks to uncover the stories they hold and occasionally step off the beaten path to discover places and people that are often overlooked. Whether you're a film enthusiast, a history lover, or simply curious about how Hollywood became Hollywood, this tour offers a deeper look at the people, ideas, and institutions behind the myth.

Venice, a history of reinvention
About the tour
Come discover sides of Venice that go beyond the beach and the canals. On this bike tour, we’ll ride through the neighborhood and explore how a developer’s dream of creating an American Venice evolved into one of Los Angeles’ most eclectic communities.
We’ll visit the famous canals, explore Oakwood and its history as a historically Black neighborhood, and discover murals, architecture, and places that tell the stories of the people and communities who shaped Venice.
Along the way, we’ll explore Venice’s evolution from a seaside resort to the diverse and ever-changing community it is today. After exploring the neighborhood, we’ll make our way back to the coast and finish with a ride along the beach.
Expect a mix of history, local stories, architecture, culture, and a little California sunshine—all on two wheels.
